Microsoft SQL Server and Other DBMS

Hello:

Many companies use DBMS that are not Microsoft SQL Server. Those companies use Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Ingres, for example. I'm looking for a paper o website which exponses the advantages (strengths) and disadvantages (weakness) of those DBMS. Why? Our customers would like a comparison between different systems, and we must show them the Microsoft SQL Server possibilities.

Can you help me with this? In terms of performance, speed, security, maintenance, etc.

Microsoft reporting Services Support & Changes

Hi We are planning to install the Reporting Services, but have been given a very negative feedback by some companies which planned to move to this.

The type of uncertainities that are coming through are:
1) product may either undergo a signifcant change
2) lose support

Can anyone help me with these questions, as i myself believe that it is hard to imagine such a big change.

NittoWhat information did those companies base their opinions on? It sounds very subjective to me. The ease of report design/deployment, and flexibility is enough for the two companies I do independant contracting for to proceed full steam with this.|||Hi,
They were not willing to give any concrete answers, but asked us to investiagate more into Microsoft's decisions on changing the product and Support.

Does anyone think that such a big change is possible?
