Our customer is using the latest version of the Microsoft Excel Add-In for Analysis Services in a Microsoft Excel ver 10.6823.6735. When using a filter on a report that queries a SSAS 2005 (SP1) cube Excel stops responding. Does anyone have an idea what to do or what to look for? Any help is welcome.

Do you mean that excel does not display any data?
or applying the filter does not filter the necessary data?
