I'm on page 41 and I'm getting an error with the example in the "SELECT "2004" FROM Sales.vSalesPersonSalesByFiscalYears"
part because there is not a table called Sales.vSalesPersonSalesByFiscalYears in the AdventureWorks database.

I learned this from one of SSIS book-Migrating from Data Transformation Services to Integration Services in SQL.
For the design time components, Microsoft has created a special distribution called the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 DTS Designer Components. The Designer Components distribution replaces the components that get uninstalled when you upgrade your last instance of SQL Server 2000. If you want to upgrade all your SQL Server 2000 instances, this is the best and only option for recovering the DTS designer.
Is anybody heard of this 2005 DTS Designer component?
Where to download? How it works? Any experience to will be appreciated.

In dexterity iam using table_compare() function to check if tables in datasource and dictionary are same but its not picking up the primary key change but it does pick up the column change

This forum is for SQL Server Integration Services. Are you trying to integrate Great Plains with another system via SQL Server Integration Services? I read your question as being about Great Plains only, so this is probably not a good forum, you may have better luck on a Great Plains specific forum.Is this product SAP Certified?
I have read somewhere that any integration technology wrt SAP has to be SAP certified.
If no, what are the implications of using this in a project? will SAP refuse to support the customer because they are using a non-SAP certified product?

I believe there could be issues with SAP support, but for a definitive answer, ask SAP themselves.|||There are ongoing discussions between Microsoft and SAP at the highest levels, the provider for mySAP is not certified and there is no ETA at present.
A new adapter pack for SAP (also Siebel) is in development and expected for release in early CY08 with the Biztalk R2 adapter pack; it will include the functionality of the mySAP provider and access from SSIS through ADO but I wouldn’t count on the component to get certified. Other integration scenarios that the adapter pack will offer (IDOC and BAPI support) will be more likely to get certified.
